Because of our alliance with Israel. I mean, if Iran attacks Israel, and they can't handle Iran on their own, there's zero chance we're sitting back and letting Iran militarily defeat Israel, right?

I'm not advocating for or against that, by the way. Just thinking that realistically there's no way the United States lets that happen.

Yeah, I was kind of being facetious with my economy comment, but it'd probably help.

Another war in the middle east, wonderful. Honestly, we should probably stay out of it as long as possible so as not to start WWIII. I'd have to think Israel has enough to handle it themselves unless others get involved.
