What do you mean he was the highest priority? Who told you that? He is no where close to the highest rated kid Xavier is recruiting and Xavier got in on him late. Sure they would have lived to get him, but also sure they knew Creighton would be hard to beat when they offered him. Sean and staff will be fine.

He was the top priority in the class after they got the centerville kid. The kid even said as much in one of his interviews. Losing him to a conference rivals stings.

You are wrong, but that’s ok. Yes they wanted him, and yes they knew it was an uphill battle. It wasn’t like Xavier was leading and Creighton swooped in. You need new material. His dad played for McDermott and they were on him for a long time.
