I am rooting for Dayton so we can have a 4 Xavier vs 13 Dayton 1st round like old times.

Plus if Dayton wins I think Kent State moves to a 12 seed and keeps Kent State from playing Xavier as a fan of both teams I don't want to see that matchup.

What would the dream 1/2/5 seeds be? A lot of the 5’s look good. I’ve seen some brackets with Purdue and Texas as the 1/2. I’d sign up for that

One of the best days of the year is one of the best days of the year again. Reminds me that we would not be eagerly awaiting our bid without the Steel Balls of Greg Christopher and President Hanycz to bring Sean Miller home.

Most of us just wanted to get back to the tournament, period. Getting one of the best seeds in program history out of the gate is beyond wildest expectations. This is a huge milestone in correcting the trajectory of Xavier Basketball.

If they send is to Albany to play Iona I will be livid. That’s a home game for Iona. I thought Tbey tried to protect the top 16 seeds as best as they could. Why wouldn’t they give us Columbus with Purdue?

Alabama length concerns me. Kansas is the best team, IMO. I’d be happy with Purdue or Houston. And St Mary’s as a 5 seed would be ideal.

I feel there’s a “Full Metal Jacket” joke waiting to be told here. :)

A year ago we were hoping to be a 16 seed. And we didn’t even get that. Got rid of the HC, and won the NIT.

T minus 30 minutes. #4 against the Flirting Pitinos with a 2nd round matchup against Charleston after they upset the Hoosiers. Of course if they don't upset the Hoosiers I'm OK with that too - revenge on the way to the Sweet 16!
