Tough way to go out. Keep recruiting. Keep challenging for BE titles and who knows? Fun team to watch (even though admittedly I have not seen them much this year).

11-2 final. Great season to get back to the NCAAs and a 3rd regional final.

Still had a really really good year. 2nd in the regular season, BE tournament champs, and 2nd in the NCAA regional. Beat the overall #6 seed on their home field along the way. Congratulations and well done.

The ducks were certainly x’s kryptonite this year… yeesh. Once it was determined that it was a bullpen game, ya just knew the offense was going to have to really show up, and they just didn’t. Great season overall, hopefully they can sustain this success and really build the program. Are there plans to get better facilities for baseball? I thought I remember reading something but maybe I’m mistaken. I’d think to have sustained success, the facilities are going to have to be better and not sure if there is an appetite for that for a non revenue generating sport.

Wish we were hosting the super instead of the Ducks. But they are playing some crazy baseball out there.

As crazy as it sounds, Hayden Field COULD have hosted a super regional had Xavier won the Nashville regional. Not having lighting would have dictated an early time, but it does meet the minimum designation of 250+ seats for the game. Hosting an early regional would have been more problematic.

Kendall Rogers posting on Twitter that Justin Loer will be transferring to LSU for next season. Nice pickup for the Tigers, but leaves Xavier with a big hole in the pen for 2024.

I didn't realize Bosacker also hit the portal. Guess he has another year even though he was listed as a senior.

And Ryan Rumsey and his 27.00 ERA are in the portal. We can probably survive that one!
