They may be ranked 3 or 4 or whatever they are, but their metrics have them at #1.
They have a freshman 7 footer off the bench that is better than anything X has in their frontcourt. They are really effing good.

At this point, I will take a winning BE record and be happy.
We've come a long way since my bench seat at the Fieldhouse!

One of the biggest grudges I hold against Travis Steele: breaking the .500 or better in-conference streak

Me too. However, then I remember that everything Steele did (or didn't do) led to our reunion with Miller (imo the best coach in Xavier basketball history) and then I feel ok again.

We need to make the Tournament, and I don't think 11-9 in this Big East gets that done. So let's do 12-8 or 13-7 please.

    20-0 would be fine, too.

Fourth or fifth in the BE. If that doesn't get us in the NCAA we can blame a lack of defense, a v. weak bench + (at least) two wasted scholly's under the
Former Guy. Next year should be better. Go Muskies!

We really need to make the tournament next year.

There is a legit chance that our top 5 guys from this year are not back next year.

Anything can happen with the portal and Miller as coach but not sure I would be confident that next year will be better.

Nova strike a deal with the BE to start their slate off late to allow injured players to return?
