They met once since in 2008 (and it wasn't pretty).

Solid win and much needed, but I’ve got a feeling that defense will be a problem all year. They sure can score the ball, but getting stops is certainly a problem. Can’t just rely on the other teams to miss layups and open shots on a regular basis. Might be time to start thinking about a different defensive scheme? Maybe throw a zone in from time to time?

Man I sure do want X to beat Duke.

No one thinks we win tomorrow (except us of course). But I want to see toughness. Sean Miller toughness. And yes, defense will be an issue against Duke. Too many options. Just be tough every possession and we'll see what happens.

X met Duke again in New York a couple years back. I believe Holloway was on the team. X got rolled. Revenge tomorrow

There was a lot of sarcasm there.. everyone knows what happened that day, we just choose to believe it was a dream. Game was over about two minutes in.

That’s the NJ nightmare X-Band refers to. It was ugly, (31) in first half. Redford hit a couple late 3s in the 2nd half to make it a respectable (18). Jon Scheyer led Duke with 23 (9-11 shooting).

Despite Miller's demonstrative emphasis on defense, we continue to have issues. Tonight Fla. missed a bunch of open looks down the stretch. We were a bit lucky in those last few minutes. Fatigue tomorrow may cause our defense to suffer further. Tonight's lazy passes could re-surface tomorrow if we're tired. Need better quality minutes from Tandy, Miles and Hunter than we saw tonight.

Continue to be impressed with Claude's improving play but a six-man rotation won't cut it tomorrow or down the stretch later this season.

Did florida really shoot 20 more shots than X? 79 to 59? Wow.
We've come a long way since my bench seat at the Fieldhouse!

I think I saw 3 plays where X was playing impressive defense today.

If X beats Duke and meets Gonzaga in the final, first catholic school to score 130 wins. Top offenses.
