Personally, I think Fran is an idiot for those comments. Association with Nike does zero at an adidas school and what does being a former nba assistant do for ya at the college level? Coaching isn’t that hard actually, you just gotta know the actual game of basketball and run actual sets, not dribble drive playground nonsense. That shit doesn’t work unless you have seven nba players on your roster, and even then it doesn’t work all the time.

WOW!
If you're not watching Creighton/Arkansas, you definitely need to. The BlueJays fittin' to blow their doors off!
EVERYTHING they are doing is massively impressive. For instance, Kalk shooting 79% from the field on the season and looks to improve on that here!President of the Eddie Johnson Fan Club

Just saw that Ohio State murdered UC. Big game tomorrow for Wes Miller. He can't lose to this Louisville team the way his tenure has started.

Does it really matter? UC can't afford to pay both John Brannen and Wes Miller NOT to coach the team.

Congrats to Creighton on a heck of a game and win against Arkansas
We've come a long way since my bench seat at the Fieldhouse!

They're not firing him tomorrow, but with a loss tomorrow they'd dig themselves a pretty much insurmountable hole for making the NCAA Tournament this year, which is pretty rough in November. He'd definitely put his tenure on a bad track and start to put himself in line for the earliest possible firing.

Firing Miller anytime soon isn’t even a thought by UC. They realize that he was left to basically build a team from scratch, and that the conference they play in is no help to attracting top talent. They also realize that even if his team improves vastly next year, that the Big12 is going to be a real challenge. He’s got at least 2 more years to turn things around.
