Lots of upsets again today. Alabama got blown out. Wes Miller absolutely blew the game vs Houston.
#12 Iowa State lost today in a blowout and #15 Auburn and #20 Miami Fl lost too.
And edit: #11 TCU just lost to Miss St.
This is college basketball, man. There are no robot teams.

Xavier always goes to the NCAA tournament...Projecting anything less than that this season feels like folly--Eamonn Brennan, ESPN (Summer Shootaround, 2012)

Colby Jones needs to play way better, period. He is supposed to be the heart of the team doing everything that makes everyone else better (think Cage, Burrell, Macura). He has killed us in the losses to DePaul & Creighton. Thankfully overcame his 6 turnovers against UConn, but they could have made the difference.
This team is not winning the Big East without a better Colby and not winning in March without peak Colby."We sleep safe in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm."

G'Town won their first BE game in 2 years vs DePaul.........man X could not lose that game at DePaul it pretty much will cost them the conference title unless X wins every home game plus also gets wins on the road over everyone except 2 (So need to win all vs the lower teams plus win 1 of the 3 vs Marquette, Providence and Seton Hall)

One thing that concerns me is the backloaded schedule could lead to several late season losses which isn't supposed to matter but I tend to think that all wins/losses are not viewed equally if you tailspin near the end it could drop your seed. Again not supposed to but we have 3 very hard road games at Marquette, Providence and Seton Hall so we pretty much have to win all other games in case we lose all 3 of them.

NCAA will reveal their top 16 soon. Last year they did it a week later than normal. They waited until 3 weeks and 1 day before Selection Sunday. I would like to see it on Saturday the 11th which is when they were doing it for years until last year.
Most had X as a 2 seed before the DePaul loss since that game most have had X sitting as a 4 seed. A few have as a 3 seed but mostly 4 seed.2014 RTS National Champion $200,000 (2460 teams) 2015 RTS 2nd Place $25,000 (3120 teams)

I care much more about what region and who is in said region, than what seed x gets. X has a small sample size of bad results from being a 1 and 2 seed.

We really could use a Connecticut win over Marquette tomorrow. Villanova almost gave us a gift Saturday but could not finish the job.
