Perfect timing. Get 3 runs, bottom of 5 after trailing 2-0. Official game.
Then rains came. Done. 3-2 win and a sweep over the Johnnies.

    0-9 to 31-25. What a turnaround.
We've come a long way since my bench seat at the Fieldhouse!

St. John's probably would have been pissed about the game getting called like that if the game mattered at all.

There was a game earlier in the year that started at Hayden Field and ended up getting finished at Prasco at night b/c of a rain delay. That's why they called it - meant nothing to either team.

And Georgetown just swept UConn earlier today with another walk-off. This tournament just might be wide-open after all.

Yup. (1) UConn plays (4) Georgetown in the 2:30 game on Thursday; (2) Creighton plays (3) Xavier at 6:30 later that night.

EDIT: Those times are very much subject to change and could be pushed to Friday since there's a good chance of showers/thunderstorms on Thursday. Friday onward should be better weather-wise.

And they generally start off in the South for the weather, and that often brings them through Sparkle City.
