Ugh. 6-5 loss. So close.

Xavier stranded 15 runners in total, including the bases loaded in the 5th, 7th, 8th and 9th innings. They did good at small ball but never threw the knockout punch that would have put Creighton away.

Now they gotta beat Georgetown tomorrow morning (10:30 AM) and try to make it to another elimination game tomorrow night at 6:30.

Walker grand slam. Now 16-8 bottom 8. Looks like X will move on. I'm cheering for Creighton to beat UConn. Easier to beat UConn once and Creighton twice than the other way around.

Lane Flamm has given up 45 hits and 32 walks in 31 innings of work this year. Hard to fathom. 2-1 X bottom 2.
