I agree with MOR from a post he made in another thread: this game could not be more important for how this team and this season will shake out the rest of the way.

They need to bring it for 40 minutes.

They need to execute - whoever is on the floor needs to achieve their primary assignment (not letting Steele and lineups off the hook here; all that stands).

A big part of executing involves both energy and intelligence.

Xavier must win this game in order for the narrative here to calm down - temporarily. And I fully understand why the narrative is where it presently stands.

How the hell is this team favored by that number? Bookmakers are overestimating x or think the sharks believe x is good. Did it last game as well.

Maybe there will be some Cintas magic and that’s what they are banking on.
