In the Gavits Tipoff games, the Big East is 4 and oh no against the Big 10. Our best two teams, Villanova and Uconn aren't in the matches. We've knocked off a number 8 and a number 4. I'm too done for details, but the Beast East is prowling...

I really like SH this year. They are going to be tough. Its going to be a dog fight to finish in the Top 5. St Johns is going to be much, much better this year too with Alexander and Champaign.

We need a healthy Freemantle and guys to deliver knocking down shots. Johnson, Kunkel etc are starting to wear me out. I dont think shooting at a 35% clip for those guys is asking for a lot. That's what they were brought here to do.

Great stuff! It is weird how much I find myself rooting for the teams in our conference…never would have thought to do that when we were in the a10…hell I even root for butler in the non-con even though I think they are douchey.
