At the Nassau Championship in the Bahamas yesterday, the roof was leaking in the ballroom they had rented for the tournament, and then it started to fall down. I cannot tell you how much fun it was just to type that first sentence!! But...it gets better!!!
They decided to move the tournament to another ballroom. So, they went to where the practice floor was, but it was too small for anyone other than the teams and coaches to fit. The cameras could not get in there, and neither could the dozens of fans who made the trip. So they ended up finishing the day of games in a small empty ballroom with a few folding chairs.
GOD I LOVE EXEMPT TOURNAMENTS!!!

Watched some of the Gonzaga game last night. Drew Timme easily wins the award for "Most Punchable Face" in college basketball this year. Freshman Chet Holmgren is ultra-talented, but geez, his twig legs scare me every time he runs or jumps. Those things look like they're ready to snap. He makes a young Kevin Durant look like Shaq when it comes to weight and strength.

UCLA-Gonzaga game tonight should be a good one, hoping I can stay awake for the 10pm tip. Completely concur on Timme---he's basically Laettner without actually being tough.

I think Colby Jones, Jerome Hunter, and Ben Stanley could have a great game against Providence. Providence doesn't seem to handle forwards with good ball handling skills. Originally Posted by xubrew

Hats off to UCLA. They are doing a fantastic job containing Drew Timme tonight! Just 1-for-5 in the first half. Of course…they’re not containing anyone else and are down by 20 in the first half, BUT THEY ARE NOT LETTING TIMME BEAT THEM!!!

UConn is going to steal steeles lunch and give him a wedgie twice this year. I think they are probably the class of the big East this year and yeah I know they just lost.

That might be the most shocking and stupefying result since Evansville won at Kentucky a few years back.
