Not a great spring so far...but hope springs eternal!

I think we all know where this is headed too - more disappointment.

I think we're in for more of the same from the Reds - vast mediocrity.

I’m not going to get my hopes up but I think that the Reds could make things interesting this summer simply due to the fact the NL Central seems pretty weak this year—most of the teams haven’t improved significantly in the offseason.

Cards got Arenado and that’s about it.

If Reds pitching can hold up / be dominant in stretches and guys have their batting averages return to their career norms, they could be fun to watch.

That’s a lot of ifs and hopes.

I don't know if any of the Reds are in the transfer portal...but tomorrow's opening day.

    Hope springs and all that.

Apparently there is a correlation between the Reds winning and cicadas, so now there are two things to hate about cicadas.

Is it really possible for this city to suck at everything sports related?

It wasn't. But now that Xavier has decided to join in, I guess it is now possible.

After a less than satisfying men's basketball season, maybe the Reds will provide something good to follow this year.

    Let's go Reds!

On another note, they re-structured minor league ball.
Dropped the total teams from 160 to 120, 4 for each major league team.
MLB took over control of all the minor leagues.

The Reds minor league team in Chattanooga (the Lookouts) will begin play in May.
They play 6 game series with all the other teams, with one day off between series.
Seems like a wild way to do it, and if someone gets Covid on day one, that might blow up the week.
