According to the email I just received , Xavier has gotten a variance to increase crowd size at our basketball games from 300 to an unspecified number.
Butler tickets are being offered based on Musketeer points and AFO standing.
I just ordered mine, making the group aware so those that qualify can check their email. You can use house credit if you have that from season tickets.

I bought two tix. But $100 per ticket seems a little steep. But I guess that’s just supply and demand.

I haven’t received any such email. Guess I’m not high up enough in the Musketeer Points food chain.

I didn’t get the email either, so I called the ticket office (513-745-3411) and was told that because I’d opted out I wasn’t on that email list. I told the ticket guy that although I “opted out” (and donated the entire cost of my tickets and seat license) months ago, and that I’d appreciate remaining on their list for ongoing ticket options.
Seems like a stupid oversight to not email people with the option simply because they opted out for the season.
Edit: I “qualify” and was offered up to four tickets for both Butler and Creighton, they just didn’t have me (a 20+ year season ticket holder) on the list due to my “opt out” decision back in the fall.Last edited by xeus; 02-17-2021 at 09:31 PM.

I did opt out of this year, so that’s probably why I’m not on the list.

What's strange is that those who opted in have to buy the tickets instead of using their pro-rated season ticket budget as Xavier said that it would do. It makes sense for Xavier to do that because the seats you get would not correspond to your own seats. And Xavier gets more money now and effectively lets everyone "opt out". What would have been nice would have been for Xavier to make that clear up front so everyone would have a chance to buy tickets for individual games this season. That said, I have to say that going to a game (as I did against UConn last weekend) wasn't nearly as much fun as going to a packed arena (it also was a miserable performance by the Muskies, which didn't help). In fact the game felt more like watching a scrimmage.

When I bought my butler tickets (I was not offered Creighton) - a pop up appeared stating that I had a house credit with the ticket office for my season ticket purchase and I was able to buy against that.
