The women haven't played a soul, and aren't exactly killing the bad teams they're playing....but they're winning at least. Valpo tonight to try to make it a perfect 4-0. Not sure why Xavier is playing at Valpo, but there it is. And then the women, I suppose, pray for a Covid outbreak in Storrs to avoid having to go to UConn on Saturday.

UConn will be the measuring stick. If they can keep it within 50, I think that will show improvement from last year.

They had a serious run at the end to bring it close, but they had simply let the game get too far away at that point to save it.

Well, that's encouraging. I'm sure Valpo isn't a great team, but they do have wins at Purdue and Illinois to their credit, so they can't be awful. Still don't think Saturday is going to be particularly helpful to our ladies, but there will come a day again when it will be a good thing to get a chance to measure our ladies against UConn.

Well, it was a 31 point game after the first quarter, but due to UConn's generosity the margin was kept just under 50. Progress?
