Start Kyky, bring Scruggs off the bench

Sports is a meritocracy and Scruggs is a grown-up and can handle it. Really don't buy the scoring off the bench argument, think Scruggs is getting upperclassmen treatment.

I agree. The offense stalls when Scruggs is out there. He's the new Naji

Scruggs has never played well against a team that plays pressure defense.

He can beat the press but always stops in the corner as soon as he crosses mid court. Gets trapped every damn time and turns it over

Scruggs might be the worst decision maker and ball handler when getting pressured in Xavier basketball history. He just loses his mind.

Just a rather forgettable game for him tonight.

Not that I think he should, but I think KyKy takes it as a slant having to come off the bench. Puts up 6 threes the first game and still doesn't get the nod, that will frustrate a lot of people. But either way, the best player should play regardless of ego and I think KyKy has earned that over Paul.

You're letting one game cloud your judgement. Before this game the only thing Kyky has been better at that Scruggs was scoring and only by 2 points per game. Scruggs had been better in every other category and better defensively.
