Scruggs can not disappear like this at any point going forward. He has to consistently play at an All BE level to get where we want to go...regardless of how well the rest of the roster plays.

So....looking ahead. I don't know much about Bradley and Toledo, but I suspect we'll be fine. I know we're not losing an OVC team. So it will be awfully interesting in a week and a half when Xavier gets on the floor against the first legitimate opponent in UC.

Bradley has actually been to the NCAA Tournament more recently than Xavier. There is that.

Much less pressure to be this with a real supporting cast, which is fine.

He can always step up to be the "guy" in important situations. It will actually be a detriment if he tries to do too much.
