Speed Racer was the best. There were also some crazy kid shows like Banana Splits and The New Zoo Review. Fat Albert and the Harlem Globetrotters were fun shows for a kid to watch.

This Week in the NFL and Lindsay Nelson recapping Notre Dame games (we now move to further action in the same series of downs), Love American Style, Laugh-in (had no idea what was going on in that one but my older siblings liked it), Match Game, The Monkees, Monday Night Football with Howard Cosell doing the halftime highlights.

    For me

    Ultraman
    Larry Smith and the puppets
    Speed Racer
    Uncle Al

And does anyone else remember calling Time? Had to explain it to my kid the other day who couldn't fathom calling the Naval Observatory Atomic Clock
I watched all of these, especially Ultraman, who was the only super hero who would occasionally lose. I think he had to fly to the sun to regain his powers.

In the last episode he fought Godzilla(I believe) and died. His sole went to heaven. I cried.

Taxi, MASH, and Mork and Mindy were the shows when I was pre-teen. The first show I absolutely loved was Miami Vice with the A-Team a close second

Before I headed to afternoon kindergarten in 1980-81, reruns of The Monkees were a must. I also enforced the no younger siblings in the basement rule so I could watch in peace.

Thanks for not turning this into some touching story about how every time you lose a case, you remember Ultraman, who also occasionally lost, and how that reminds you to go on and fight another day.
