    MY FIL was a dentist on the USS Missouri and was there for the signing of the peace treaty with Japan. He LOVED Hogan’s Hero’s because it was all about making the German’s look stupid. That managed to stand out as a big thing from my wife’s childhood. That show made him happy, so it represents happy to her.

    My brother would go to the TV station with friends. There would be about 6-10 people there. Bob always had a keg of beer and no one was aloud to leave until it was gone. And yes they were drunk as hell by the time the second movie ended.

    Welcome Back Carter, Three’s Company, Alice, The Jefferson’s, Bewitched, Gilligans Island, Different Strokes were the syndicated shows that I watched a ton of. I’m sure a ton of jokes flew over my head on those shows.
