SEC football is doing it right. Saban tested positive, but after three negative tests, he was allowed to resume coaching.

Plenty of time for them to make our little party on the 25th, but obviously this shit is not going away any time soon.

Football and basketball are not quite the same. Football is outside and typically grouped together by positions, while basketball is inside and closed quarters. The actual number of people in quarantine after a positive contact is not that much different. It just happens to be the entire basketball team vs the offensive and defensive lines for example.

It’s also early in the basketball process so they may still change their protocols.

They said 2 out of 45 tests...were both positives from the men's team, women's team, one from each?

What about a trainer or staff that is in contact with both teams and a player? If both teams are quarantined it would have to be someone in close contact with both teams. Otherwise I’d agree it’s excessive. No reason to think they’d shut both teams down for two men’s positives.

Our guys need to start licking doorknobs and get it over with. In all seriousness, probably better now than 2 months from now. It's going to be a long, very fluid basketball season..
dayton will lose by 40 and we will loot tonight.

I am sure Xavier and the rest of the Big East will file that idea under the worst plan ever.
