    -Oklahoma at home, Dec. 9

    And

“It’s also likely that the Big East will reveal the schedule in sections. So we might get the December slate and they’ll see how that plays out and then move to January. Which makes sense in the event we have Covid postponements”
The MAAC has an open weekend in late February for any potential makeup games - then again, it's easier for them to do that since their games are primarily in the Friday-Monday window. Could be harder for the Big East since it's spread out for TV purposes.

So we'll only play 25 games?
...he went up late, and I was already up there.

Yes. Here is an article that states the changes for games and practices. With new limits, this is one of the reasons X pulled out of the Orlando and scheduled our own MTE. Of course, covid being the other. As with other programs, gotta pad the schedule somehow with that limit.

That’s interesting. Guess it would be nice to have scheduling options for all because it could be a mess trying to reschedule at times. We are seeing that now with the NFL.

Not until Ben Stanley gets his waiver approved!

Big man Saar and Obi Toppin's little bro' just got green lighted today out of no where for UK....Yeah, they were obviously desperate for talent.

Everybody and their mother is getting waiver clearance. The Ben Stanley situation has become equal to Chinese water torture. I have a hunch that someone botched the process or submitted the paperwork far too late, so this thing could be denied.

Ben Stanley is a key piece....with out him our frontcourt will be suspect in conference play, unless Miles can give us something OR Griffin surprises.

Nothing botched here. The waiver was submitted late because Xavier wanted to provided supplemental information to build the case for Stanley. Travis has mentioned in the news that the staff is confident and will know within the next week.

OK...now that is welcomed news! Unfortunately, other than you, any back up info is non existant. Since waviers are being handed out like Halloween candy, I have been a bit suspect on the Stanley submission....WAY TOO LONG when you use the speed of the DJ Carton approval as a measuring stick.
