    Prayers for Derrick Otim's Family

    Link

Former men's soccer standout Derrick Otim tragically died over the weekend in a swimming accident. The Nottingham, England, native was 24 years old.

Otim played in 70 matches during his four-year career with the Musketeers, totaling seven goals and nine assists. The midfielder was named to the All-BIG EAST Third Team in 2019.

"He's a little bit ball-dominant, he needs to have the ball in his hands, and he's not a good shooter." Ball-dominant … isn't that a nice way of calling someone a ball hog? Where is my Jay Bilas Thesaurus?

Very very sad news. Met him first a couple years ago ... I always said hello especially when Men's soccer was doing the 50:50 at the BB game. Our paths crossed a couple other times. This news hurts. RIP
