UCONN officially back in the Big East

As of today, Big East basketball is now at 11 teams with the official return of UConn to the league. I think It’s a good addition, and will add to the profile for the league. I see Zero reason to expand further and hope the league is now complete.

Xavier is now in a conference with teams that won 6 of the last 21 national championships. That's a long way from the MCC.

(And 10 of the last 20 women's national titles for good measure)

    No more expansion needed....
Unless and until Notre Dame decides to end their BS association with The ACC and want to join.
Other than that, we are done here. Round Robin Forever!!

Just saw a story about UConn opting to cancel their football season this year. That doesn’t bode well for basketball.

Golf is a relatively simple game, played by reasonably intelligent people, stupidly.

Their football is independent and most of the scheduled games were already cancelled. I mean, it isn't positive for basketball, but the situations are very different.

Maybe they will be smart and just continue to have football canceled for the rest of time.....

I wonder if UCONN football will ever play another season. It almost feels like they've dumped too much into it to give it up.
