TBP: The Best Player to Wear #2

We reconevene our polling after a season cut short.

A recent ESPN article covered the best player to ever wear.... (post here). I thought it might be a nice change of pace to try it here. Some numbers will cause more controversy and discussion than others.

Back again for your voting pleasure: The Xavier Player ever to wear #2:

    Landen Amos 2011-2012
    Kyle Castilin 2018-2019
    James Farr 2012-2016
    Adrion Graves 2006-2008
    Jordan Latham 2010-2011
    Brian Thornton 2003-2006

"He's a little bit ball-dominant, he needs to have the ball in his hands, and he's not a good shooter." Ball-dominant … isn't that a nice way of calling someone a ball hog? Where is my Jay Bilas Thesaurus?

Farr leading has to be a case of recency bias. I love Farr but can't believe he is winning this right now.

    Career numbers:
    Thornton: 10.8 pts, 5.6 rebs, 1 assist, 1 block, 56.7 FG%, 71.0 FT%
    Farr: 5.9 pts, 5.2 rebs, 0.3 assists, 0.7 block, 50.2 FG%, 65.2 FT%

    Last year:
    Thornton: 15.3 pts, 6.8 rebs, 1.5 assists, 2 blocks, 64.0 FG%, 69.6 FT%
    Farr: 10.7 pts, 7.8 rebs, 0.6 assits, 1 block 54.5 FG%, 72.8 FT%

That tally would have been higher if the 6-foot-8 player had not suffered a season-ending injury against La Salle in February of his final season. He fractured his right ankle and damaged a ligament while chasing a loose ball. Surgery soon followed.

...he went up late, and I was already up there.
