Obviously I am not since I just graduated a couple years ago in '92. Anyway, I worked at a volunteer outing with current Xavier students building trail at one of the Arc of Appalachia preserves. I was introduced before we started as a Xavier alum but I did not volunteer what year I graduated. After the work was done I had to answer such questions as "Did the campus look different when you were there?" "Was Fr Graham the President when you were there?" "Was Brockman and Kuhlman there when you were?" and "There were houses across from Brockman when you were there?"
The Alternative Spring Break that Xavier does is an great thing. I don't know where else they volunteer but they have been to the Arc of Appalachia for several years. This year they are doing trail building M,W,F and invasive removal on Tues and Thurs. I did trail building one day and am likely to call off work sick the rest of the week.
But I am not old.
