Oh absolutely. In fact I think this will end up creating the blue print for most future national emergency issues. The government now sees how the people react in a crisis(groceries) places to shut down(barbers etc.) places to keep open(take out, wallgreens, etc) and seeking businesses who are willing to convert to the items needed for the crisis. Communication between the Federal government and the states will occur much more quickly too. I think the public will react much more quickly as well. Everyone at all levels including the general public will have learned from this crisis and will be better prepared.

I will say this, My hands have never been cleaner for such a long period in my life. Hand sanitizer out the wazoo. Then washing my hands. Wiping my desk off with wipes(using my hands) a couple of times a day. Think I'm getting a buzz from all the alcohol going into my blood stream.

When capitalism does not work, our government still is able to force corporations to provide what our country urgently needs.

Trying to work on a deal to get the auto makers to get vans to us, but when it didn’t work through negotiations as quickly as we would like it looks like we are able to force them to start production

If GM was smart they would have several plants making ventilators and masks, make more than whats needed and export the rest. They would get top dollar.
