On a Covid related note, the golf fundraiser on TV right now is amusing me. Brady is no Tony Romo. Tiger to Brady: “you’re in the fairway..........over on #7.”

05-24-2020, 08:07 PM #1994Ohio’s unemployment rate reached 16.8% in April, the highest level ever recorded. The state shed more than 800,000 jobs during the month. Despite Ohio businesses starting to reopen, May’s numbers might be worse.
445 deaths under the age of 70 in Ohio.

More good news:
London: An Oxford University vaccine trial has only a 50 per cent chance of success because coronavirus is fading so rapidly in Britain, a project co-leader has warned.
The warning comes as new data reveals that there are now 224 vaccines in development around the world - almost double the total of just a month ago.
Professor Adrian Hill said an upcoming Oxford vaccine trial, involving 10,000 volunteers, threatened to return "no result" because of low transmission of COVID-19 in the community.
If this is becomes true, what does the "wait for the vaccine" crowd say/do now?

And while the wimps are all waiting for a covid 19 vaccine, we are opening ourselves up to an attack from more deadly diseases to all age groups, not just really old people.
In Michigan, fewer than half of infants 5 months or younger are up to date on their vaccinations, which may allow for outbreaks in diseases like measles.

The Sweden results seem mixed to me. Wanting herd immunity (70-90% with antibodies) they are at 7.3%
Their death toll is over 4,000...while their neighboring Scandinavian countries with half the population are way lower.
As of Friday, May 22nd, 3,925 people have died from Covid-19 in Sweden, a country with a population of 10 million. Neighbors Denmark, Finland and Norway - each with populations about half of Sweden’s - have recorded death tolls of 561, 306 and 235, respectively.

This virus hasn't done anybody any favors, for sure....he went up late, and I was already up there.

I agree with your last statement, but the Forbes article is weak and inaccurate. First it uses Sweden's decline in GDP as a basis stating they are not doing better economically. But it's a global economy so of course GDP is going to drop when the rest of the world shut down! Here's a much better comparison of economic impact:
- The U.S. unemployment rate went from 3.5% in February to 14.7% in April: https://tradingeconomics.com/united-...mployment-rate
- Sweden's unemployment rate went from 8.2% in February, and 8.2% in April: https://tradingeconomics.com/sweden/unemployment-rate
Sweden is clearly doing profoundly better.
The article also states that Sweden's death rate is "flat", which is absolutely wrong. Deaths and ICU cases have dropped dramatically:

This is yet another example of where words on a page are not supported by data.
