Seriously still arguing about wearing an effing mask and its effectiveness? Seriously? Like holy shit...just wear a mask when you are in public and stop being a whiny ass 2 year old. Is it annoying to wear a mask? Yeah but holy f, grow up.

Quite true! There is always the chance that you or, more importantly, some innocent person, could be terribly harmed. Now, if you went to Happy Hour and knocked back drinks for a few hours, THEN got behind the wheel you are an irresponsible jackass. THAT is what you are if you refuse to wear a mask in the grocery store. We all know there is an increased risk of you harming someone else, but you just don’t care enough to protect the people around you from the damage you can cause them. That is selfish.

I think you’ve painted an adequate picture of yourself. We get it.

Cool, now unbuckle your seatbelt, ignore that speed limit, blow through that stop sign, take the kids out of the car seat, and disable that airbag.

I don't think the statistics support your belief. And there are professional organizations whose opinions have been linked on this board also that disagree.

I'm not sure what these scenarios have to do with anything, unless your saying that mask wearing is forever. Which is actually in the back of my mind. As in, what is the end game here?

    I will ask again:

Being VERY generous for the sake of argument, let’s say the info is ambiguous. If there is even A CHANCE that you wearing a mask could save someone in contact with you from becoming quite ill, or even dying, is that NOT sufficient reason to wear one? Are you and your minority that sure? Or do you just not care about other people that much?

I’d like an actual answer, please.

I disagree with the whole premise that wearing masks is the overall most healthful thing for the population at large. Developing immunities is a needful thing.
