The country is a secluded island nation with a small population. Their borders are completely shut down to all foreign travel. What happens when they do open up?

Yes, I agree island nations have it much easier.
But other countries are also having more success. Their numbers are going down; ours keep going up.
There are things we could do better. Those 2 guys suggested another lockdown to begin.
That's pretty severe, but as Bill Gates points out, our testing is not good.
There are tests that come back in a few hours...while others come back in weeks.
We can do better I would think.
...he went up late, and I was already up there.

Some test positive today only to be tested tomorrow and are negative? How can that be?

Two kinds of tests...one more reliable than the other?

Hawaii, despite the intensive lockdowns and mask mandates, is currently experiencing a tremendous outbreak. Virus gonna do what virus gonna do.

    Exactly

This virus, which in many people has very, very mild symptoms is IMHO, the worst kind of virus b/c you really have no idea you have the virus only to pass it along to someone else who may be elderly or have more difficulty with it for whatever reason.

Is this really interesting? Seems like a mild case to me.
