Wild card is probably their ceiling unless the Cardinals melt down against the Royals (they did lose one tonight) and Brewers this weekend. Also keep in mind that the Cardinals could make up two more games (one of many COVID-9 postponements for STL) against the Tigers if the need arises next Monday.
With Philly losing tonight, the Reds at the moment would be the top WC and would face the Cubs in the wild card round. The Dodgers really have to be praying that the Cubs get matched up with the Reds instead.

Yep - and they're already coming off of a 5-game series in Milwaukee last week.

I like the Padres. Great moves at signing deadline. But forever a Reds fan.

How funny would it be if the Royals and Tigers end up being the reason St. Louis misses out on the postseason?
Milwaukee is still alive and teams like the Phillies and Giants (assuming they lose tonight against SD) are mathematically alive at this point.

Now looking more likely that the Cardinals will win today and send the Reds to Atlanta no matter what happens in their finale with the Twins.
