Didn’t Xavier go undefeated in the A-10?

Watching the VD game and they showed other teams that went undefeated in the A-10. Temple twice, St Joes and GW. Didn’t X do it once or was that MCC?

Went 15-1 twice in the A 10. Last year in the MCC they were 14-0.

Xavier was however the first team in NCAA history to win 4 games in 4 days under the leadership of Pat Kelsey. And they needed all 4 of them to make it into the tourney.

Then lost to Wright State on a Laettner-esque shot in the MCC tournament.

Didn't we lose the first game in one of those 15-1 seasons and then win the next 15?

I know they lost their opener against Richmond in 2003 followed by 15 straight wins, but I'm drawing a blank on the second occurrence.

I never realized that. That's kind of amazing.

Pat Kelsey? I know Johnny Wolf and his broken hand lead us to winning 4 games in 4 days, but Pat Kelsey? Pat Kelsey didn't play on either of the Xavier teams who won 4 games in 4 days. I also don't believe we were the first program to make that happen.
