Other than seeing YouTube highlight clips of Tandy and hearing from Steele that he WILL be an explosive scorer, we have seen nothing awesome from KyKy except that he made a long three pointer a pull up jumper.
I think we should calm down on the hype unless we have all seen him practice.

He is a frosh and the game is extremely fast for them. As awesome as Freemantle has shown, he is exposed as inexperienced as a defender. He will get better and develop like Tandy. But again, I have not seen the awesome explosive full of offense that people see in Tandy. I hope it does come sooner than later but I know he is a frosh with tons to learn as a pg who sat out for a month due to injuries.

Yes, let's not minimize that as many days as he was out of action, Tandy's injury was probably a bigger impact on how comfortable he feels on the court right now. No, he hasn't played really well, but he has shown signs that he's got some good skills and instincts. His ceiling should be higher, but I'm guessing it'll take the summer Sophomore Jump for him to really start to process what all he is capable of. I think the combo of him and Odom is going to be special.

Freemantle's offense is ahead of his defense, but that's not too uncommon at this stage. He was a Net +1.0 for the UC game, overall a positive contributor. Jones was a Net -3.5, which shows he was a little less efficient and had a few more defensive mistakes. That doesn't happen every game, but Freemantle has had a positive net impact in several games this season, notably Uconn, where his defense was strong.

    Moving on:
Goodin had one of his better games this season. Four rebounds, two steals, eight assists, and most important to me right now...only two turnovers. But for a senior point guard, his usage was one of the lowest on the team.

Golf is a relatively simple game, played by reasonably intelligent people, stupidly.

I mean, you basically said it yourself. He sat out a month due to injuries, and obviously it's going to take time to adjust. I don't think anybody here expected him to come out and have a Tu Holloway All-American season this year, it's the potential that Tandy has that's exciting. I actually think people on this board have been pretty level-headed about it, naturally you're going to be excited to see what he can do (myself included), you don't get all those P5 offers without bringing something special to the table, but by all means I've definitely think everybody is more so excited for the potential.

The guy has been injured and is transitioning into high level college athletics, but I'm sure Steele who's seen him in practice, and the numerous coaching staffs, recruiting experts, etc. who talk about his explosiveness are correct, there's no way ALL those people mis-evaluated. It'll take time, and we just have to be patient, which I do believe everyone has been.
