In the first night of action, the Big East teams all win in commanding fashion. Seton Hall and Providence both score above 100 points.

    Powell scores 27
Providence knocks down 16 three pointers
    Howard scores 38
Robinson-Earl scores 27, Bey scores 22, and Swider scores 18 off the bench
    Creighton hits 12-25 from three
Reed scores 17 and grabs 11 rebounds

Wow, I caught some of the Villanova/Army game. Wildcats look like they've gotten more athletic.

Another kid named Jones scored 17 and grabbed 11 rebounds too.

Now if his teammates could just drop 16 3s like those Friar boys.

No doubt! I just thought it would be good to have a thread for BE teams who are not Xavier to discuss anything of interest.

Hard to be excited about all these early games unless you are a fan of that team. Still, looks like some good things happening for the conference.

I’m sure it’ll change, but Mt St Mary’s leads Georgetown by 12 at the half.
