X needs to improve in some areas if they expect to win 20+ games and comfortably make the tourney this year. If we think where we are right now is going to get us there, I don't see it. I can be happy we're 7-1 and concerned at the same time. I am optimistic with the improved bench and depth this year. The TO's and bad shots are becoming chronic and its pretty much the same guys every game.

We need to play better. We have wins, but they are not impressive wins. Look, folks. Without two *almost* improbable Naji Marshall 3's, the same Naji Marshall that is hitting 20.5% from three range, this team would be 5-3 and absolutely mediocre. We've struggled at home and played very stupidly at times. There are still inexplicable passes, shots from guys who have no business shooting them and regression and underperformance from 2 starters. The bench is starting to look stronger, but things need to improve for us to deserve a ranking.
At least we actually flashed a guy to the foul line vs Lipscomb's zone Saturday. That's a schematic improvement, but there is a lot more to be done.
