Don't think this has been posted. Hopefully no research or data entry errors.....paints a pretty good picture of our success.

    # Denotes BET Win

74-48 overall not too shabby.....Take away the mess vs Nova and a nifty 72-36 against the rest.

EDIT- CRAP my columns didn't line up...had to add periods in between so it doesn't look like jibberish!

I guess we are all getting a little anxious for the 2019-20 season to get started. Nice stat work. We really need to clean up our record with the Pirates. Living in Pirate Country and dealing with my SHU friends has been quite difficult. We are taking quite a few recruits out from under their nose so hopefully that will make a difference down the road.

Yeah, Seton Hall has got the best of us by a hair....starting to turn things in our favor with back to back road wins. I think Crieghton is shaping up as our best in conference rival. They boast a severe home court advantage like X and the results have been interesting. We own Butler in similar fashion to what Nova has on us.....man it must be hard facing that reality for the Dawgs!!

Continuing the Xavier way, X outrecruited MCC opponents to dominate the MCC, then X outrecruited the A 10 schools to dominate the A 10, and now being a #2-3 team in the BE, X is dominating 8 of the 10 BE teams with our superior recruiting. Hope X can annually fight VU and SH for #1-2 spots. It is the Xavier way.

Who would have guessed in 1990 when we were basking in that great win over GU at the Hoosier Dome that we would be 10-3 over them in the BE?

So true! And look at what we've done to Marquette....the team that wore us out for years back in the day. Got off to a 7-1 start against them, knocked them out of the BET twice to go with 3 road kills in our 9 wins!

Did a little further digging and came up with something REALLY INTERESTING. Looks like X has played in 34 Big East games against RANKED opponents and Villanova has been ranked EVERY TIME. We are 16-18 overall BUT take away the Nova games and we're 14-6 vs everyone else!

Seton Hall just announced this morning that they are opening up the top of The Rock for 4 games this season (Michigan State, Maryland, St John and Nova). So SHU who was near the bottom in attendance, and could even sell out the bottom bowl at Pru Center (<10,000) is now on the rise. I hope in the near future the X game will be added to that list of games when all our newly found east coast talent returns for a local game against SHU.

I get a 6 game mini plan for SHU games because I love college bball and can only get to Cintas 1x a year. They keep pushing these seats back so ticket sales are in fact on the rise at Pru.
