The Xavier ascendancy to the throne is nigh. We already have a regular season title. Just the beginning of the dynasty. Like all the other conferences they have eventually taken over, the so called old school BE troglodytes will smell the glove and come kicking and screaming to the altar of Steele.

Villanova will remain a venerable institution and a formidable but descending foe. They are welcome to #2 - if they can earn it.

#1 is spoken for into perpetuity.
