    Uconn exit terms finalized

    Not bad at all:

From a cash flow standpoint, monies withheld account for approx. $11mm, with the other $6mm paid out in $1mm annual increments.

They got to be pretty happy about that. Basically a $2MM premium to leave a year earlier. Big East member next year. Will be cool to have them come to Cintas next year... both men's and women's teams.
I have complete faith in coach Steele and Co.

You know how when a coach goes to a better team, often there is an agreement for home/home with the old school...maybe even reduces the buy out.
So UConn has to do this:

UConn has agreed to schedule four home-and-home basketball series with AAC teams, men’s or women’s. No teams or years have been assigned.
That'll let the AAC get on some national broadcasts instead of ESPN+
...he went up late, and I was already up there.

The should do all women's home and homes just to screw with the AAC.

Although this wasn't stated in what you quoted, it is extremely probable that part of the agreement also includes the AAC having exclusive media rights to all four series/eight games. Chances are they won't be on ESPN Plus, though. But, they could be.
