Not everyone tries to extend their career in Europe- Ryan Welage

    From Ryan Welage Twitter
I’m excited to announce that I have been accepted and will be attending Naturopathic Medical School at National University of Health Sciences! I’m extremely excited to begin this journey of studying the human body, health, and the healing arts full-time.

I think it is the right move..it seems that many get disappointed playing at 2nd tier teams in Europe or Asia and come back 3-4 years later without much to show. Good luck to him. He did sign with Inception Sports but evidently not a good enough offer presented itself

Good for Ryan. I also think anyone that gets to play overseas is probably learning life skills besides basketball that transfer over later in their careers.

Well Lithuanians take basketball pretty seriously, so maybe it'll be fun to play there. He's in the capital city, so there is likely some culture. And he's not that far from Minsk, which is a great city.
