    The Masters - 2019

OK, I'm making my Masters attendance debut on Friday. Who's been? What does a first-timer need to know?

    Good for you.

Much hillier than you'll ever imagine from watching it on TV.

You'll love the food prices - - pimento cheese sandwiches are a must (assuming you like them).

BEHAVE YOURSELF. They do not tolerate idiots there - - not that I think I had to put that out there in your case.

If it's your first time, make it to Amen Corner, for sure.

Yeah, I'm usually a sporting event drinker, and for the Masters I feel like that's a two beer (in a 12 hour) day just given the event. I'll have other chances this weekend to give the bourbon the Paul treatment.

I think we'll get out there first thing in the morning to hit the store and try to walk the whole course. And yeah, not sure I'm going to be a fan of the pimento cheese sandwich, but I'm definitely going to have one. How could you not?

See if you can find a weed anywhere on the golf course. I couldn't.

Anyone ever have success with ticket lottery? I don’t know enough VIPs to go.

    My bets for the event:

    Rose 12-1
    DeChambeau 25-1
    Fitzpatrick 125-1

Others I like but didn’t wager: Oosthuizen 40-1, Matsuyama 35-1

Start on 18 and walk the course backward. You see more shots/players that way.
Bring comfortable shoes, TV doesn't do justice to how hilly the course is.
Go to the gift shop last, it's no fun lugging merch around all day.

People go in early, put a chair behind a rope, then go away for hours. Sort of annoying.
That said, if you get chance to park yourself at 16 for an hour or so, it's great watching them come into and work that small green.
(I think there was a parking lot right outside that area, and we were able to come in there...but it's been years ago).

Just a beautiful place, and immaculate.

Edit: have a bourbon on me when you're in the South!
...he went up late, and I was already up there.

    Lucky bastard.

I actually like Tiger at 14-1. I know it's a sucker bet but he's been playing well.
    Koepka at 22-1 isn't bad.

Enjoy!!! Lucky bastard. Rahm is my pick. Hope he can control his temper. 2 beers in 12 hours? Lame. Get loaded and get on tv running onto the 16 green and pooping on it. Give an X arm symbol while doing it.

And how can’t you like a legit pimento sandwich for $3? Shit is good.
