Jason Carter, 6'8" stretch 4 from Ohio U, commits to X (2 years eligibility left)

This is great news. What do we know about him? He doesn't seem like a typical stretch 4 (briefly looking at his numbers didn't seem like he made a ton of 3s). Should be a great role player and will definitely help as the frosh get used to the speed of the college game. I wonder what his defense is like.

Is this it for us? Or is it possible we add another wing transfer for next year?

So that's the last scholarship I believe. I also think we have 2 open up to guys leaving. (Removed by Admin) due to not getting any minutes even when the team struggled early in the year.

i believe X will now definitely redshirt either Miles or Ramsey. (Removed by Admin). I think X is still big on Zach Harvey who is also considering Creighton, Gonzaga, Nebraska, and Kansas. The Zags and Kansas have backed off and believe X has the inside track. If that doesn't work out, X will likely offer Ben Roderick. Roderick has several MAC offers (including OU) but wants Ohio State. However, Ohio State has one scholarship remaining and hoping Diallo (7 footer) comes to OSU. Roderick has X as his #2 if X offers. Wisconsin and West Virginia are also now starting to recruit Roderick so a lot of moving pieces. Personally, i was hoping X would have gotten Andree as he shoots 42% from 3 or a true big (i.e. Hankins or Kanter size) or they will be small next year on the interior defense

X had a top 20 class already coming in, now they add an experienced and proven college forward that can score and rebound.....home run!

I read that he's expected to have immediate eligibility. Can anyone tell me how or why? He's not a grad student and I don't know of any hardship???

He's graduating this summer, or at least in line to. Took a redshirt in 2017-18 due to a leg injury.
