My buddy is insistent on it being better that X win a NIT then losing in the PIG. Under no circumstance is winning an NIT better then losing the PIG. What say you?

If I was going to school for school, I wouldn’t have picked the University of Cincinnati. Dontonio Wingfield

Winning the NIT is great once you're relegated to the NIT. But getting to the NCAA Tournament is ALWAYS, 100% better than any NIT result.

Nothing is good about the NIT. I'm going to watch every game and yell at the TV as hard as I would for any other game, but that's because I love Xavier and in spite of it being the NIT.

PIG loss better than NIT championship. That being said I’ll pull for the Muskies and hope we are in the NCAA next year.

You'd rather have a miserable night in Dayton than go to NYC?

PIG loser bc then at least you are in the tourney and have a shot. Going to the NIT is better than nothing but nothing replaces making the tourney.

I’d prefer NIT champ. I still feel like you’re not in the Big Dance until you’re in the field of 64. I also don’t think any conference champs should be in the PIG, even if it’s a huge upset.
