Snipe had an interesting comment regarding how Musketeer fans follow the basketball team.
Maybe most people now interact through Twitter and other platforms, rather than online in a user forum such as Xavier Hoops.
(Makes sense given the rise of cell phone usage 24/7)
The drawback to many of those would seem to be the restriction on longer thoughts on an issue, creating game threads multiple people can follow in a single location, etc.
Intertwined is the ongoing concern of the cost/viability of this particular forum. I had suggested lifetime memberships as a way to raise money to help support Muskie's efforts, and Snipe noted how that could be counterproductive down the road. So, I just sent in 10 years worth of membership at one time. That'll prevent me from worrying about it for a while...and heck, it might end up being a lifetime membership!
At any rate, I did a poll years ago, and thought it might be worth another shot. So give it a shot and let's see where our membership breaks out according to our graduation year.

Hmmmm.......fan since 1982 and a season ticket holder, but my undergrad is from UC and my masters is from Thomas More. I was just raised a fan and never stopped.
We've come a long way since my bench seat at the Fieldhouse!

Now that would be an interesting poll. How many UC grads are X fans. After muskiefan82’s, I know of least 2 on this board.

Fan since the mid 80s. Graduated from Miami in '93, then X in '96.
I took a summer class at X in 1991 or 1992 and stumbled into some noteworthy classmates: Brian Grant, Steve Gentry, Mo Brantley, Erik Edwards, Dwayne Wilson, DeWaun Rose and I think Tyrice Walker. Most fun I've ever had in a college class. It's winning time.

Mark the decade you graduated, even if you didn't graduate from X.
Trying to get a read on the relative ages of members on the board. Would like to get at least a 100 votes.
(so far proving Snipe's thought correct: younger people aren't really on this site so much.)...he went up late, and I was already up there.

My X undergrad is 1980, which some purists think is the last year of the 70s, but I put 80s. MBA from X was ‘86.
Golf is a relatively simple game, played by reasonably intelligent people, stupidly.

We're up to 35 and the 90's seem to be in control.
(Is that you Bobbie with me in the '60's?)...he went up late, and I was already up there.
