Terrible. My first thought was he was impaired, glad that wasnt the case. Prayers for all involved.

From the looks of it, he struck a passenger who was already involved in an earlier accident. Boeheim wasn't speeding or impaired, but it's nonetheless very tragic for everyone involved. The weather probably wasn't that great either - either snowy or icy roads could have also played a factor.

    Boeheim hits, kills pedestrian

    https://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...sh/2937156002/

This is truly sad. Syracuse had just crushed loosierville by 20 and it appears that on his way home, head coach Jim Boeheim, struck a pedestrian on the side of the highway after a vehicle that passenger was in struck a guardrail. Honestly, not sure I could continue on, at least for the short term, if I were in his shoes. No charges pressed. Appears to be a very unfortunate accident at this point.
I have complete faith in coach Steele and Co.
