Former Xavier University standout Edmond Sumner debuted with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in January after missing the first half of his rookie season recovering from surgery to repair a torn ACL.
The Indiana Pacers announced Wednesday that Sumner is headed back to the Pacers' NBA G-League team after playing just 20 total minutes and scoring two points through Indiana's first 11 games of the season.

The Four Seasons of Sumner ((f/k/a Sumner sent to Ft. Wayne Thread)
"He's a little bit ball-dominant, he needs to have the ball in his hands, and he's not a good shooter." Ball-dominant … isn't that a nice way of calling someone a ball hog? Where is my Jay Bilas Thesaurus?

Ed dropped 22 against his hometown Pistons tonight and just balled out. He’s been getting big minutes and as I’m sure our Indy friends can attest has been winning over the fan base. Good for him...

He's shooting 40% from the three this year. He's also shooting 59% from the two.
And from a historical perspective, the "Mad Ants" may be my favorite team name.Last edited by XU 87; 04-25-2021 at 01:36 PM.
