    Each player- ppg average?

Apologies if this info was posted somewhere else on the board but I did not see it and I was intrigued when thinking about which players were going to step up and fill the shoes of some of the scores from last year.

My projected breakdown (average points per game)

    Marshall - 15.7
    Goodin- 12.1
    Scruggs - 11.8
    Jones - 10.9
    Hankins - 10.3
    Welage - 8.1
    Castlin - 6.2
    James - 3.9
    Kennedy - 2.7
    Hardin - 2.3

I'd be pleased with an 84 ppg average this season especially if Coach Steele is going to put an emphasis on the Muskie defense this season as he stated earlier.

Over 80 per game? If that happens we will hang another BEast banner. Coach Steele has said team 97 will have a defense 1st mindset, so I expect mid 70's for X with the opposition 5-6 back on average.

Just because the totals add up to that many points doesn't mean our PPG will be that high. Unless everyone plays every single game, the total team PPG will be lower than the added individual PPG. That being said, here's mine:

    Naji: 14.5
    Q: 12.6
    Scruggs: 12.4
    Tyrique: 9.8
    Spanks: 9.5
    Welage: 7.4
    Castlin: 5.8
    James: 3.0
    Harden: 2.3
    Kennedy: 1.6

I'm expecting us to score around 75-76 ppg.

there is only1 ball still....correct? LOL

I think Marhsall at 16 PPG is high. Castlin, James and Kennedy are also high IMHO......

I think the others are pretty close

No it doesn't. If Harden plays 16 of 32 games and averages 3 points per game in those 16 and Kennedy plays 16 of 32 averaging 3 points per game in those 16, then Harden would average 3 ppg, Kennedy 3 ppg, and the team overall 3 ppg. Harden's 3+ Kennedy's 3 does not equal 6 per game for the team if they only play in half the games.

    Henceforth and forever more,
There should be no math upon this board.

If Jones and Hankins can combine for a total of 21 ppg, we will have a very good season.
