I guess that makes sense. IFFFFFFF the Big 12 were ever to expand, UCF and Houston have to be the first options, not UC. Those schools have the money, enrollment, and recruiting bases to fit in with the rest of the conference. The only thing going against Houston is that all the Texas teams could get pissed if they were to dilute the recruiting landscape.Bruce Feldman

BREAKING: #WVU’s Dana Holgorsen is expected to become the next head coach at #Houston, per sources. UH offered Holgorsen the kind of deal that WVU brass wouldn’t at $20 million over five years. The deal is expected to be wrapped up in the next 36 hours. SB Nation was first on it.

If you use recruiting as an argument, it would work in favor of UC to some degree in terms of bringing Ohio into the Big 12. But keep in mind that the networks paid the Big 12 to NOT expand, so it's worthless to think about anyhow.

Alabama-clemson 4....pick 6 to start....that was interesting. We could probably go ahead and pencil in part 5 for next year now.

Don't know why they haven't gone over the middle more. That was working for Bama.
