OK, how about Redford? Did he commit to someone else before X?
...he went up late, and I was already up there.

I don't see anything wrong with that line of inquiry.

BTW: Everyone is free to participate...or not.
Tu committed to IU first so I guess he is out.

Exactly, just a different world we live in now. I'm not judging anyone at all, just an interesting note.

Redford had his injury redshirt year, so I took him off. James Farr might be another one that qualifies.

Tre originally committed to UCLA and Tu committed to IU.

With 300+ programs in Division 1, and however many programs outside of D1, I'd say the majority are playing four years. That's probably decreased in the past two decades, but still, a huge number of people play for four years. It would be interesting to find a statistic showing what percentage play four years at one school.

This is a peak off-season post. Watching people get in arms about it is amazing.

The fact that it is (or, at least, seems to be) happening more at X is more due to the type of player they are getting....likely to have more options than previous players.

It may also have to do with them more used to being "highly thought of" and "playing at a high level" and having a lot of teams / coaches / recruits from big-time programs fawning over them. Generally bigger egos?
