    Trevon Bluiett's beautiful shot

    Link

The coach and his kid have another game together. Maybe three or four. Could be five more games. Six? It’s possible. The coach and his kid, they’ve been waiting a lifetime for this moment, and it’s here: Xavier is a No. 1 seed in the 2018 NCAA Tournament. The kid, Trevon Bluiett of Indianapolis, is Xavier’s leading scorer. The coach, Reynardo Bluiett, is his father.
Together, they built the most beautiful shot in college basketball.

"He's a little bit ball-dominant, he needs to have the ball in his hands, and he's not a good shooter." Ball-dominant … isn't that a nice way of calling someone a ball hog? Where is my Jay Bilas Thesaurus?

Thanks, saw that one and the one of JP. Both good articles.

I subscribed to the Athletic last month with a friend when they were doing the 50% off deal and they ave had some really good articles as well Xavier and non Xavier articles if anyone is wondering how the content is.

I was not going to come near The Athletic because of that twit Seth Davis, but when they hired Shannon Russell, that induced me to ante up and I told her so. She was extremely appreciative.
Shannon is a quality journalist and good people too. She deserves it.

Golf is a relatively simple game, played by reasonably intelligent people, stupidly.

I signed up. My daughter's were upset that Shannon Russel let go (every online newspaper website is based on USA Today) so I felt it was worth it. Great article on the "walk ons" and I have a number of friends/acquaintences who were D1 walk ons so shared it with them. We can't be cheapskates everywhere. Go X and if you saw Marshall play today you know that you must prepare for everyone. I recall us up by a decent amount then Marshall hitting a number of 3's in the last minute. Providence got beat on the boards and Seton Hall beat NC state which beat every ACC team I believe. Go X and go Big East..watching Butler now
