    Cincinnati Reds 2018

In an effort to distract myself from bad news, I see the Reds are playing the Indians.
Guess Grapefruit League stuff has started, or whatever it's called.

    Reds win.

Golf is a relatively simple game, played by reasonably intelligent people, stupidly.

If the pitching doesn't show improvement this year the Reds are shockingly going to be worse than last year. The offense lost big numbers from Cozart and replaces him with one of the worst hitters in the NL. It's very doubtful that Scooter and Suarez have repeat seasons.

IMO Senzel will be the replacement for Cozart. I think Suarez will be a steady contributor and Winker in the lead off spot will give Votto more chances with men on base. Scooter might be one of those late bloomers that had it click all of a sudden. The offense will be fine, perhaps even better. Run prevention is still terrifying, though. This team could well lead the NL in both runs scored and runs surrendered.

It's going to be a long baseball season. Can the Reds get 65 to 70 wins?

Winning streak! Back to back wins for the first time since mid September (which is really sad).

No team has ever had 20 losses by April 26....until today. Congratulations 2018 Redlegs!

Have the Reds become a farm team for the rest of baseball?

Seriously, there are a lot of former Reds starting for other teams.
